| BHG is responsible for verifying eligibility,
entering clients into the state MACSIS system, and updating
and correcting client information. These services are provided
in a secure area, which is compliant with the federal Health
Insurance Privacy and Portability Act of 1996.
BHG employs experienced, professional Enrollment Specialists
who are dedicated to the job of reviewing and updating the
eligibility of clients in our provider network and enrolling
them into the public mental health and alcohol and drug health
system. A Senior Enrollment Clerk provides backup for our
Enrollment Specialist. Our enrollment team researches and
answers provider’s questions regarding eligibility criteria
and the enrollment process.
They provide telephone support and
stay up-to-date
on State and
County rules, regulations and procedures. If required, our
enrollment team will also offer advice and prepare error reports
to help our providers identify ways to improve their enrollment
process, thus reducing their time and administrative overhead.
The Enrollment Specialist will routinely process about 150
forms each day.
