BHG offers a variety of educational opportunities to its member boards and provider network, ranging from personal phone conversations regarding eligibility or claims processing to regional conferences. Some of the training topics covered in our on-site training and annual conferences include managed care, HIPAA compliance, quality improvement, client satisfaction & CQRT surveys, MACSIS, Community Medicaid Compliance Reviews and Medical Necessity Documentation Reviews, and Level of Care and Peer Review Audits.

Additionally, BHG informs it members of other 3rd party continuing educational opportunities throughout the state and country. Presentations by members are also made at the BHG Board meetings on topics of interest to the group. These educational activities help our members keep current with regional and national issues and industry changes that will impact their operations.
