Pursuant to the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services (ODADAS) guidelines stated in their Guidance Manual, ADAS Boards are required to conduct annual “Treatment Service Independent Peer Reviews” (IPR) of their agencies, employing an independent auditor, separate from the agency’s internal peer review process.

BHG conducts these audits for our Boards with LICDC independently licensed professionals with years of experience. Our auditors have developed standardized templates and protocols that are used for their audits to assure that all ODADAS criteria are met. The auditors also take this opportunity to provide specialized instruction and assist the providers with their quality improvement process.
